M Ali Mirza,
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Mirza co-founded the company and works as the CEO of the company since 1997.
Mr. Mirza has 30 years of experience in general management, financial management in pharmaceuticals and oil & gas industry with world-renowned multinational companies.
Prior to establishing Healthcare Group he was Regional Director Finance & Administration for Allergan Inc., USA from 1990 till 1997. The region was consisted of Middle East, Central & West Africa, Pakistan and India. Mr. Mirza has also worked with Hoffman La Roche and Exxon Inc.
He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Assosiate Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Omar D Sheikh,
Co-Founder and President
Mr. Sheikh co-founded the company and works as President of the company since 1997.
Mr. Sheikh’s 35 years of management experience has been with multinational companies in Pharmaceutical, Wellness and Banking Industries. He possesses thorough knowledge of Pharmaceuticals, Surgical & Diagnostic Equipment and Ophthalmic lasers. Mr. Sheikh’s areas of expertise are Startups, Sales & Marketing, Strategic Planning, Team Building and Business Development.
Mr. Sheikh has previously worked as General Manager Allergan Inc. of Irvine, CA, USA for Saudi Arabia and Strategic Operations Area Manager for the Middle East, Central & West Africa, Pakistan and India from 1987 to 1997. He has also worked in the capacity of Regional Manager ZEISS of Germany from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that he worked in different management positions with United Bank Limited and Middle East Bank.
